I haven’t done one of these in a while, and I had a spare morning so I thought I would do a face of the day! This is the look I went for when I went to a bbq recently, so fairly done up but not over the top glam….enjoy!
Under my foundation I have been loving using this Bourjois healthy mix illuminator, it gives such a nice glow! Then my favourite foundation at the moment is the Flower Beauty light illusion foundation. Again, this is super glowy and makes my skin look really fresh.
I’ve been using a combination of concealers at the moment. I love the Flower Beauty concealer to cover blemishes, and then I use the Revolution conceal and define concealer to brighten under my eyes and also to lighten up my face as the foundation is currently slightly dark for me (as I have no fake tan on)!
To set all this in place I used the Rimmel clear complexion powder in the shade transparent. This is a great powder, it doesn’t go cakey or orange and it’s a great price.
I decided to use the Rimmel Kate palette which I hadn’t used in such a long time! I have the shade 002 coral glow, and I used all 3 sections – contour, highlight and blusher.
I used the Zoella x Colourpop brunch date palette (see my full review here) and the supernova shadow from her collection in the shade bellini. From the palette I used the shades maple syrup, mimosa and French toast mostly in the crease. I then layered the liquid shadow on the first 2/3 of the lid and blended out the seams.
As always, I used the Soap and Glory supercat skinny liner – the only eyeliner I ever trust! My favourite mascara at the minute is the ‘mascara revolution’ by Revolution. It’s quite a clumpy mascara but I actually quite like clumps. For eyelashes I went with these Princess Jasmine ones from Primark (don’t judge)! These are actually pretty good and have gold glitter on the bands which is abit extra I know, but I think it looks nice. For eyebrows I used a Revolution eyebrow palette.
My lipstick is a Ted Baker nude shade.
Until next time.
