Hello everyone! And a happy new year! I feel like as I grow up, each year goes by more and more quickly.
Throughout 2019 I have found many firm favourites in terms of makeup, that I just keep reaching for again and again, so I thought today I would share with you a full face using all of my 2019 favourites. Enjoy!
Base
For my initial base, I always start with a moisturiser. My current favourite, and one that I have been using for the later part of the year, is the Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors HA. This is a great moisturiser and is not too greasy feeling on the skin. From the same brand, I have been using their high-adherence silicone primer. It has really helped my Tzone look less oily throughout the day.
Since summer I have been obsessed with having that ‘glow from within’ look to my skin, and my favourite product for this has actually been the Primark prep and perfect skin illuminator in the Shade champagne. This evens out my skin tone and gives a great glow from beneath the foundation and isn’t glittery at all.
My favourite foundation of 2019 has to be the Elf flawless finish foundation. I find this foundation looks really nice on the skin, is a great coverage without being thick and cakey, and the shade beige is the perfect colour match for me. It also lasts really well throughout a workday and doesn’t go oily or patchy.
My favourite concealer has been the Revolution conceal and define concealer. This has really good coverage and isn’t oily. To set this, I have been using the Rimmel stay matte powder, which does a really great job at setting my face. My favourite bronzer has been the L’Oreal back to bronze bronzer. This is the perfect shade for my skin tone – it’s not too dark or too light and doesn’t look muddy. It’s also matte so I use it as a contour as well as a bronzer for the rest of face.
The blusher I’ve been loving is the Benefit gold rush blusher, which I have pretty much used completely up. Another Benefit favourite is the cookie highlighter which is such a gorgeous product! It’s a really great shade for my skin tone and I think it looks really nice.
Eyes
My go-to eyeshadow palette has been the Colourpop Disney palette. I use the top row of neutrals every day for work and sometimes add the gold shade on top.
I have used a few mascaras this year, but the one I kept going back to was the TooFaced better than sex mascara. I’ve spoken about this on here a few times before, it’s been a favourite for a long time. It’s lengthening, thickening and not too clumpy. It comes as no surprise that my favourite eyeliner is the Soap and Glory supercat skinny liner. This is hands down the best eyeliner I have ever tried – and I have tried a lot!
Another firm favourite for my brows is the NYX eyebrow powder. I have used this for a long time and is pretty much used up, so I will definitely be getting another one soon. On top of this I have recently been using the Benefit Gimme Brow which is great for creating a bushier looking brow, which I have been loving lately.
Lips
Finally onto lipstick, which is a tough one. There have been a few this year that I have rotating, but my favourite has to be the Kiko lipstick in this lovely nude shade (the shade has rubbed off so I can’t tell you what it is).
What are some of your favourite products at the moment? Let me know!
Until next time.

I’ve just bought the Estee Lauder double wear foundation. I’ve heard rave reviews about it so I finally went to the make up counter and got a shade match. I’ve been using Nars which was great but didn’t last as long as I needed it to. I’ve Estee Lauder doesn’t live up to the hype I’ll definitely give Elf a try!
