Did you know that billion of toothpaste tubes a year go into landfill, as they are made from a mix of plastic and aluminium that cannot be recycled?
Reco recently reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try out some of their toothtabs, and of course I said yes. I love trying anything that could reduce the amount of waste I produce.
These would be perfect for travelling with hand luggage as they will not need to be separated into the liquids bag at the airport, meaning you can fill that space with other products! Each tab contains 1450ppm of fluoride, the same as in a standard toothpaste, which helps to keep your tooth enamel strong and healthy.
One thing I love about this product is ALL the packaging is biodegradable. The product labels are printed on 100% recycled paper, and the mail bags they use come from sustainable sources.
These tabs are so easy to use and make no mess at all – you literally pop one in your mouth, chew and start brushing. Then spit it out and rinse, and you’re good to go.
Let me know if you have tried anything like this before!
Until next time.
These seem so practical, easy and so good for the environment! Defo wanna give these a try in the future!
I have never tried these before! They look really efficient though!
I would love to try these! I tried a similar product by Lush called ‘toothy tabs’ once but that was ages ago. I love that all the packaging on these is biodegradable!
What a great alternative! I like this already.
I have had my eyes on toothpaste tablets for a while now, but I’m still not sure about them. I like that they are less wasteful, easy to bring and that you don’t have to share a tube of toothpaste between people, but I don’t much like that I have no say in how much toothpaste is being used.
Maybe I’ll give these a try and see how it works out for me 🙂
Thanks for sharing.
As an avid outdoor traveller and camping addict, I have been seriously eyeing these up for the coming camping season! Not only do I want to pick products that are environmentally responsible (clearly I have a love for the environment) but they would be so SO convenient to throw in my backpack before heading out!
These are so cool! I haven’t really heard of them before or even used them, but I would love to try to sometime. Especially since I am a dental hygienist!
I’ve never tried something like this before, but it is a positive way to support the environment, so I may start doing this now 😁
Cool. These look really interesting. I love that they would eliminate so much waste.
