Hi everyone! I think we can all agree, Netflix has been a life saver these last few weeks during lock-down! So I thought I’d share with you what I’ve been binge watching while being off work.
TV series
The Vampire Diaries
One programme I watch over and over again is The Vampire diaries. I love this show, and I’ve seen it so many times I don’t have to concentrate on it so it’s the perfect thing to have on in the background.
The Big Bang Theory
Another show I love having on in the background is The Big Bang Theory. Again, it’s not something I need to focus on so it’s great for when I’m doing other things. I recently restarted it from the beginning.
Dr Who (removed 2021)
Aaron and I have started watching Dr Who from the start of the Christopher Eccleston series, and so far we’re really enjoying it. I used be obsessed with it when I was younger and it’s been really great watching it in the evenings, it brings back so many memories.
Films
Easy A
One film I’ve discovered and been completely obsessed with is Easy A. I absolutely love it and have watched it multiple times over the last few weeks. For some reason I find it very relatable.
I Fell Pretty (removed 2021)
I saw this in the cinema when it came out and loved it, so ever since it was put onto Netflix I’ve watched it numerous times. It’s such a feel good film with a great message behind it.
Just go with it
Lastly, another film I watch all the time is Just Go With It. It’s such a random film but i really love watching it – it’s really funny and I love both Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.
I seem to get myself stuck in a rut with series and films and watch the same ones over and over again. I think it’s because I’m always doing something else so I like to have things on in the background that I don’t actually have to concentrate on. I would like to watch the second season of YOU over the next few weeks, as I loved the first season!

I love The Vampire Diaries too but haven’t watched it in ages! I’m watching Once Upon A Time with my husband at the moment, I’ve seen them all before and he hasn’t so it’s fun watching them all over again. I also love Stranger Things, Sons of Anarchy, 13 Reasons Why and The Umbrella Academy. It’s the perfect time to watch The Umbrella Academy too because season 2 is coming in July! Great post

The Vampire Diaries was my favourite back in the day, but I’ve actually never finished it! I’ll have to start it up again! It’s been a while since I watched Easy A but it’s such a great movie!

You’ve got some great options here, I LOVED I Feel Pretty. We recently watched The Wrong Missy which had me cracking up. I’ve also been rewatching past seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race which always make me smile. That’s quickly become my go to background show when I’m blogging or working on something else.

I got quite far into The Vampire Diaries but never ended up finishing it for some reason! I’ll have to go back and finally watch it all. I’m watching Desperate Housewives at the moment x

Oh, I used to love the vampire diaries! This has made me want to watch the show all over again! I still need to watch the second series of You as well. I haven’t really been watching Netflix, but I need to start because there are some great shows on there, aren’t there?

Some fab suggestions. I love Just Go With It! Such a fun movie. My boyfriend and I are re-watching Prison Break on Netflix at the moment, one of our faves!

Oh man, I love everything Adam Sandler. He is such a funny guy, and some of his movies are simply hilarious while offering some deep thinking as well.
My family loved Easy A; that girl has an attitude! But in a good way. Since my sisters watched all of Vampire Diaries; a long task, I think the only thing I have not seen from this list is I Feel Pretty, so I have to check that out!

I’ve been into more of the easy watch kinda movies! A good comedy is always a shout too haha. I’ve not actually see *everything* on this list but I’d defo heard of them. Maybe I’ll give them a go at one point xx

I think I’m the only person in the world who hasn’t seen vampire diaries, heard so many good things about the series tho. But the movies you listed, I’m glad to say I’ve seen all and I love them. Thank you for sharing

When I was younger, I went through a phase where I was OBSESSED with the film Just Go With It. I don’t know why, but I literally watched it like 3x in one week because I found it so funny. I haven’t seen it in ages, but your post has reminded me that I should definitely give it a rewatch!

I watched a few episodes of The Vampire Diaries but could never get into it. The books were much better in my opinion, but I love TBBT and Doctor Who! Easy A is such a funny movie too – I love Emma Stone.

There are some great shows and movies here. I need to watch Big Bang Theory again! I am watching The Politician at the moment and I am loving it, definitely recommend!

Oh, I loved Vampire Diaries…I think I will have to re-watch the whole lot again! Netflix has some great shows on at the moment, doesn’t it? I want to check out the Zac Efron documentary and the Will Farrel film about Eurovision looks good.

OK, I have a confession – I don’t have Netflix! Is it really worth getting in addition to Sky and Amazon Prime?
Absolutely love The Big Bang Theory – quite happy to re-watch those over and over again. Anybody here watched (on Sky) a programme called Banshee? Or SWAT?

Ahh I got so excited when I saw that all the Doctor Who’s were on there and definitely feeling a re-watch coming on soon. I started Vampire Diaries years ago but never continued so maybe it’s time to give it a go.
