Face of the day!

Hi everyone! Welcome back.

I have a face of the day for you today, and I’ve been testing a couple of new bits! Some of these products you will have seen me talk about before and some are brand new to me.

Base

For primer I used the E.L.F luminous putty primer. This is a great primer as it brightens up the face really nicely, without being glittery, and I feel like it fills my pores at the same time and smooths the skin.

For foundation I used a favourite of mine – the E.L.F flawless satin foundation in the shade beige. I’ve used this for a long time now and it is the perfect foundation for me.

Another product I’ve repurchased countless times is the Rimmel stay matte powder in the shade silky beige. This is a great powder and does the job really well.

For bronzer, an oldie but goldie. The Bourjois chocolate bar powder is currently in my ‘to use up’ pile, and it’s a lovely product. A great colour and doesn’t go patchy or muddy.

For blusher I reached for the mini Benefit ‘cheekleader’ palette, using the shade dandelion. This is a really lovely blush as it’s quite subtle but builds nicely.

Onto highlighter, I used the Ofra highlighter in the shade blissful. This is one of my favourite highlighters as it’s a great shade for me and is really blinding.

Eyes

The star or the show – the XX by Revolution eyeshadow palette in the shade XXPOSED. I have fallen in love with this palette – the colours are my perfect shades and it’s great for travelling. The shadows blend really nicely and the glitter shade is amazing!

For eyeliner, this will come as no shock. The Soap and Glory Supercat liner is the only liner I will continue to use, it’s the only one I’ve found works for me.

Another Benefit product, I used the Bad Gal Bang mascara. This is a new discovery for me and I’m really enjoying using it. It gives great length and volume and doesn’t smear throughout the day.

This NYX powder I am ashamed to say I have had for YEARS and it’s finally almost gone! I love this powder so will probably buy another once it’s used up. I also used the Benefit gimme brow which I love.

Finally onto lipstick, and I recently repurchased the NYX soft matte lip cream in the shade London. This is one of my all time favourite lip products and I’m so glad I’ve got a new one!
