Hi everyone! Today, as I publish this, is my 25th birthday. I can’t believe this day has come around, I honestly feel like I’m still 20 years old. I have accomplished a few things in my life so far which I am so grateful for, but today I wanted to share a list of 30 things I would love to cross off my bucket list before the big 30 arrives!
- Visit Athens and the Acropolis (Completed May 2023)
- Learn the basics of the guitar
- Adopt a cat (completed Dec 2021)
- Go on the Jack the Ripper walking tour in London
- Go up in a hot air balloon
- Get engaged
- Visit Disneyland as an adult at Halloween and see the Disney Villain Parade
- See the Northern lights
- Learn how to make sushi
- Read The Silmarillion (I’ve had it for years but never read it)
- Have a zoo animal experience
- Save some more money (Ongoing)
- Go aquazorbing
- Adopt an animal in a sanctuary
- See The Lion King again on stage (completed March 2022)
- Go to a drive in cinema
- Ride a bike around Hyde Park
- Take a road trip up to Scotland
- Go to a roller rink disco
- Stroke a piglet
- Go to a Hard Rock Cafe
- See Bon Jovi live (if he does a tour in that time!)
- Indoor skydive
- Go Llama trekking
- Celebrate New Years in a different country
- Go on a swan pedalo in Hyde Park
- Go to a cocktail making class
- Do first aid training at work and become a first aider (completed September 2022)
- See a polar bear
- Go Segwaying

Great post Elle, we were watching a show the other night about New York and that is one we want to do when travel opens up again! Hope you get to see/do everything over the next few years!

These are really great bucket list ideas. I would to visit New York as well. Some of my goals before I hit 40 since I’m 29 now are to visit Paris for a month, go to Japan, learn to horseback ride and archery, go turtle watching and learn conversational Spanish, French & Japanese.

A great list here. I have a similar 40 things to do before I’m 40 and have quite a few of these on this!! I’m worried I only have 16months to go and covid has ruined the chance to do a few of them 😕 I hope you manage to achiever yours. If you are anywhere close to Doncaster (or fancy a trip) The Yorkshire Wildlife Park has Polar Bears and it is amazing. An easy way to cross one off!!

This is such a great list! I’ve done a bike ride around Hyde Park before and it’s definitely worth it.

It is my 29th birthday in 3 days – I might have to make a list for my 29th year of life.
I just wanted to hit 30 countries before I turned 30 and I did that 🙂

Happy birthday!! Hope you have a lovely day 🙂 This is such a great list. I’ve done a few of them! I’ve been to the Hard Rock Cafe, adopted an animal, done the swan boat thing in Hyde Park and the Jack the Ripper walk. That was really cool and so interesting and eerie!

There are some great things on this list! I’m already in my 30s, so I’m working on the list of things that I want to do before turning 40. Some of the things that I’ve put on that list include:
– build a van conversion with my husband
– take a month-long camping trip with my husband and the dogs
– visit Disney during their Halloween celebrations
– learn a new language
Making a list like this is a great way to motivate ourselves to try something new and make these things happen!

This is such a great list! I turned 30 a few years ago and I still have some of these on my list, like go to New York. I had no idea about the Jack the Ripper tour, I’d love to do that! Another thing on my list 🤣🤣

Love this! Hope you get to do it all and so much more… Start with sushi, buy the ingredients and then whack on a YouTube tutorial following the steps.
There’s a hot air balloon festival in Bristol every year, too. 😁
