My first Shein haul!

As you can tell from the title, I have done my first ever shop from SHEIN! I have never used this brand before, but I have seen so many people over the years order from them, so I thought I would give them a go myself.

I’d heard mixed reviews about SHEIN before – some people loved it, and some people thought it wasn’t that great, so I was expecting it to be very hit or miss.

Gonk Christmas jumper

The main reason I placed this order was for this Christmas jumper. I am absolutely obsessed with gonks, and when I saw this on a facebook ad I knew I had to get it! The first thing I have to say about this – it’s not so much a jumper as it is a long sleeved t-shirt. It’s extremely thin for a ‘jumper’, but I could just wear something under it if I find it too cold. It also comes up pretty small – I bought this in a medium and it is pretty tight! I am a 12-14 so normally a medium would be perfect, so bear that in mind. Overall I do really like it, and for a novelty item it’s not so bad.

The next item I spotted was this cardigan. I will admit, in the photo it looked a lot thicker and better quality than what actually turned up. It is very thin and quite an open knit, and not overall the best quality (compared to the photo), but it is really comfy and a lovely colour, so not too bad overall. Again, I got this in a medium, and whilst it fits really well, the arms are extremely long!

An Autumnal shirt dress

I really really loved the look of this dress. It actually is pretty much the same as on the website photo – although it doesn’t quite look the same on me as the model! I got this in a large as that was what the size guide suggested, and it’s a pretty good fit with some space to move. I know I will get lots of use out of this dress, teamed with tights and black boots. This one is a definite win for me!

Earrings for 99p!

Lastly I saw these and had to get them. They reminded me so much of Jack Skellington (obviously not official) and for only 99p, I couldn’t resist. They’re pretty good quality for the price, although the back doesn’t quite go on straight on one of them. What I might do is try normal earring backs rather than have them double sided and see if that works better. Overall, I can’t complain about these!

Overall, I was pretty happy with my order. I don’t think the quality of the items quite matched up with the prices, and the pictures can be very misleading on some things, but what I ordered seemed to be decent.
