Fathers day gift guide 2021 (AD)

This post contains gifted items sent for inclusion in this post, however all opinions remain my own and I’m not obligated to include anything I don’t like.

Hello everyone! It feels like forever since I sat down and wrote a post, but with the rate this year is flying by, Father’s Day will be upon us before we know it! With that in mind, I thought it’s about time I put together this year’s gift guide. This is packed with bits and bobs that’ll suit so many budgets and tastes, so let’s get straight into it.

Men’s fashion accessories

As always, trendhim has hit the nail on the head with gift ideas this year. I’ve worked with this brand a fair few times in the past, which you can read about here, and I can honestly say the quality of their products is amazing. They’re also pretty budget friendly considering the quality and variety involved. As Father’s Day is at the beginning of the summer season, and we should (hopefully) be getting some sunshine soon, I thought why not show off some of their amazing sunglasses? Every man needs a good quality (and fashionable) pair of sunglasses in their lives. These are the Walden black & grey Wade sunglasses, which offer UVA/UVB protection. I love the simple and stylish design of these – I think they will suit so many people and are an amazing price at £35.

A Really interesting brand I’ve recently come across is Paguro Upcycle. They make men’s accessories from recycled materials, using innovative methods to upcycle and reclaim materials that would otherwise end up in landfills around the country. They really do have some amazing products up for grabs, from jewellery to bags, wallets and even homeware. One item that was particularly interesting to me is the George Recycled Inner Tube Wallet. I love the fact that this is sustainable – made out of rubber inner tube from a bicycle tyre that would have gone into landfill. This also makes for a great vegan alternative to leather. As it is made from upcycled materials, no two wallets are the exact same, so it makes for a truly unique gift.

Food items

In my personal experience, anything edible always goes down well when it comes to Father’s Day gifts. One brand I recently came across is Marshall & Brown, who sell some absolutely delicious looking treats! One thing I really loved from them is their rum cake selection, particularly the coconut flavour! I’m a huge fan of both coconut and rum, so this ticks all my boxes. They do a huge range of flavours, as well as some other delicious products so make sure you check them out.

If your Dad is more into savoury, and loves cooking with meat, these rubs could be a great way to go. These are by the brand Trager Grills, who do a huge range of BBQ and grilling products. I’ve been trying out the Treager Rub and the Fin & Feather Rub and they are absolutely delicious. They work so well for so many different meals and are really versatile. We’ve used them on burgers, chicken dishes, fish dishes – they even work beautifully with veggie meat alternatives!

Artwork for their ‘man-cave’

I recently came across a site called Next-Level Artwork, where you can buy some absolutely beautiful and unique pieces of art. There is such a huge range of canvases and posters, definitely something to suit everyone. I’ve spotted a few that would look amazing in a ‘man-cave’ or ‘bachelor pad’ as men sometimes like to think of it! They ship worldwide which is amazing, and are a great price.

A coffee subscription box

If your Dad is a coffee lover, a great idea for a gift is a coffee subscription box! I’ve featured a few of these on my blog in the past, however recently I got to try out one from Dog & Hat. They have an amazing variety of coffees available, as well as some lovely gift items too! A subscription box would be a great gift as you can get a box sent each month and the gift will just keep giving.

Personalised items

One thing that every Dad is bound to love is a personalised gift – particularly photo gifts! ProperGoose do a fantastic range of personalised gifts, which are all handmade here in the UK. On their website you can find gifts that’ll suit any interest – from sports to food, and any budget. One of my favourite items available is the wooden 150 piece puzzle. I think this is such a lovely idea – my Dad absolutely loves a puzzle so I know this’ll go down a treat! It comes in a matching tin which is a really lovely touch. Definitely check them out for top quality personalised Father’s Day gifts.

Until next time.

  2. Some great gift ideas – I love the idea of the different rubs! My other half doesn’t have a sweet tooth so food gifts are usually really tricky.

  3. Paguro Upcycle are such a cool brand! That’s amazing that they can make products from things like tires which would have ended up in landfill anyway but are now used to make something beautiful that someone will love! x
