It’s finally that time of year when we all crack out the dark, vampy lipstick and the orange toned eyeshadow! I do it every year – and I don’t tend to wear it any other time. I’ve done this post before in previous years, but today I wanted to share an updated version with newer makeup in my collection. So without further ado, here is my autumnal makeup look for 2021!

Base
I’ve been trying out a new foundation which I’m really enjoying. It’s the Collection Lasting Perfection matte foundation, which I used to use back in the day but not the matte version. I really like this foundation and I don’t find it’s super matte so doesn’t look really dry. I’ve also been using the Lasting Perfection blemish concealer, which again I’m really liking. I’m not sure what’s in it that’s targeted specifically for blemishes, but I find it’s fine to use all over the face, just perhaps not under the eyes.
An oldie but goldie for powder – the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I’ve used this for absolute years and I can’t really fault it. It does everything I need it to do and doesn’t go cakey throughout the day. A bronzer that I’ve been using for ages – as you can probably tell by the state of it – is the Physician’s Formula butter bronzer. Again, this is a product I can’t fault. It’s a really nice bronzer – it’s not too dark, it doesn’t look muddy and it’s very slightly shimmery but not too much that it looks glittery.
I’ve spoken about this blusher a few times before and it’s one of my favourites. It’s the Milani Luminoso blusher which is the perfect colour for me, and gives a lovely rosey glow. For highlighter I used another old favourite – the Ofra Rhodeo Drive – which is the perfect golden shade for my skin tone.

Eyes
On my eyes I used the Revolution F.R.I.E.N.D.S palette, using a lot of the neutral and warm orangey tones. Over the top I used the shade Legendary to add some shimmer. As always, I used the Soap & Glory Supercat eyeliner. I will always use this liner as it’s the best one I’ve found and it never lets me down. For mascara I used an ELF one which I will admit isn’t my favourite, however I’d like to use it up before opening a new one. I find it’s very sticky and my top lashes seem to stick to the bottom ones a hell of a lot throughout the day. It’s also pretty clumpy and makes my lashes all stick together. I completed my eye makeup with some Eyelure 3/4 lashes which are always my go to. I have quite small eyes so I find these the perfect size.

Onto eyebrows and I used the Soap & Glory brow archery. This is a really simple product to use and I find the colour matches me really well.
Lips
Last but not least I completed the look with a dark lip. I used the Flower Beauty liquid lipstick in the shade Dark & Stormy. I really love this colour for this time of year and I think the deep purply shade complements the orange toned eye makeup.

Until next time.
