Another month is drawing to a close, which means it’s time to share with you some of the things I’ve been loving recently. I recently wrote about my current skincare favourites so go and have a read of that if you love discovering new skincare. There’s not a whole lot on this month’s list – I honestly can’t believe how quickly it’s flown by and I feel like I haven’t had a chance to try many things. That being said there are still a few things I’d like to share, so if you’d like to hear about my April favourites, keep reading!
During the Easter holidays we went on a mini break to Bournemouth. We’d both never been to Bournemouth – or not for many years at least – so it was nice to explore somewhere new. I fell in love with the place and I’m dying to go back! I will be writing a whole blog post soon on what we got up to etc so stay tuned for that. You can also see some snippets over on my Instagram.
A Youtuber and Blogger that I have discovered this month is Brogan Tate. I know she’s been around for ages and I think I must have been living under a rock to only just discover her. I searched ‘Bournemouth’ into Youtube to get inspiration for our trip and her videos popped up. I haven’t switched off her travel vlogs since! She seems so down to earth and it’s refreshing to watch someone who isn’t all about having everything staged.
Bloggers of the month
One of my favourite blogs to read is Sunshine Sarah, which follows a 30 something year old woman’s journey as she navigates her way through life. She shares a huge variety of posts covering many topics, including mental health, midsize fashion, self-care routines and life as a vegan. She also features lots of travel, film & Netflix recommendations, as well as some great lifestyle tips and tricks.
Here are a couple of posts you should take a look at:
Life of Morag
Morag’s blog features a range of topics, mostly centred around Mental and Physical health, travel and politics. One thing I love about her blog is that she talks about a lot of current and relevant topics, such as lockdown, POC and anxiety.
She has some brilliant blog posts that you should definitely have a read of:
Glomalin is an organic and natural skincare company, based in Canada. Their goal is to create products that contribute to our health and wellness, along with beautiful skin. They stock a wide range of products, which are only tested on themselves, family and friends (never animals) from luxurious face cream to vegan plant-based winter balm. They also have a blog where they write lots of informative posts all about skincare and their products.
A couple I think you should check out are:
Like I said, I haven’t discovered a whole lot of new favourites this month so I’ve kept it short and sweet!
Until next time
