Hi everyone! Long time no post, I know. It’s been a busy few weeks but I’m finally back today with a few ideas for decorating this Halloween! I love this time of year, and as much as I love the cute pumpkins and cosy autumnal decor, I really enjoy fixing my house up for Halloween.
I’ve collected lots of bits and pieces over the years for Halloween decor – lots of skeletons and spooky pumpkins. This year I’ve reigned it in a bit and only used a few bits of statement decor rather than filling my house with too much stuff. Today I wanted to share some of my favourite Halloween decorations in case you needed a bit of inspiration!
The fireplace
This is one of my favourite areas to decorate as it’s the main feature of the living room. This year I’ve gone for a stuffed tower of spooky characters, a Frankenstein’s Monster gonk and a cute ghost garland. On the bottom I’ve put a couple of bronze pumpkins which I use for my Autumn decor too. These all came from Homesense over a few years, but the ghosts would be really simple to make if you’re crafty.

The kitchen
We don’t have a tonne of surface space in the kitchen so I’ve kept it quite simple. The only bits I put in here were a marble patterned pumpkin which goes with the worktop, and a skeleton scarecrow, both from Homesense. I also popped some halloweeny tea towels and hand towels in the as well as the bathroom.

The windows
One addition to the Halloween decor this year are these window stickers from the brand Stickerscape. They do a huge range of high quality window stickers, which are really simple to use. I used this really lovely pastel pumpkin design on one window, and a spider web on another. These are perfect for the autumn/Halloween season and there are so many cute designs to choose from, so definitely check them out.

Other random bits
I love switching out our salt and pepper shakers for these cute mummies, again from Homesense. I use this Happy Halloween cushion on the sofa. We also decorate the garden, which isn’t currently up so you’ll have to check out my instagram to see it!
