Hi everyone! I can’t believe it’s already February. I feel like this year is just going to fly by, much like 2020 did. It’s time to start thinking about Valentines day! I have here a little list of things I think would make lovely gifts for your significant other.
Bijoux de Chagall – Handcrafted Eco Jewellery
If you have quite a high budget this year, I think jewellery is a great way to go. One item I wanted to feature is called ‘Luna Love’, by the company Bijoux de Chagall. This is a beautiful hand-carved pearl moon pendant and necklace, and is made with natural pearls and brilliant sparkling natural Diamond, and 100% recycled solid 9ct yellow gold. I think it is absolutely beautiful.
All items are handmade and there may be some small differences between pieces, making your order completely unique. Orders can also be personalised, which makes it a very special gift as opposed to mass-produced jewellery.

Love from Lori
Run by Lori, a Cancer Nurse in the NHS, Love from Lori is a small bespoke gifting business with a range of valentines gifts available. These are really cute gift boxes of goodies, with a variety of boxes perfect for everyone – including galentines boxes and family boxes. Boxes include pamper bits, sweet treats and activities, and would make a great gift for your loved ones.

Candles
One thing that is a guaranteed winner in a candle. There are so many available these days, but one of my absolute favourite candle companies is Aubrey Bay who do the most amazing smelling candles! My favourite scent is coconut lime.

A Dash Cam
This would make the perfect gift for someone who has been looking into getting a dash cam, or who struggles a bit with driving confidence. I have one myself, which you can read about here, and I really love it. It has definitely helped me with my driving confidence and I’m really glad I have one in case anything happens.

Smart Screen
If your other half loves their phone, this could be the perfect gift! Created during lockdown, ‘Smart Screen’ is a revolutionary, antibacterial cleaning cloth designed to ensure phones and tablets remain clean as ever. It is connected to and fits in a pouch that tailored to neatly fit into any pocket. This cloth is a heavier weight than most microfibre glass cleaning cloths, which makes it easier to handle.
“Created for a mass market audience, the cloth fits into any everyday scenario – from removing screen smears before entering a meeting, eradicating dirt picked up from the bottom of a handbag or getting rid of greasy finger marks on the family-shared tablet.”
During the weave process, a silver ion antibacterial liquid treatment is applied which lasts for up to 15 washes. This would also be great to use on objects such as glasses or camera lenses, as well as your phones or tablets. I was kindly gifted one of these and have been trying it out over the last couple of weeks. It’s perfect to pop into a small handbag, as I don’t normally have pockets, and it works really well to remove smears off the screen. I really love that it’s antibacterial, which is especially useful in today’s climate.

Lustre Bakery
Lustre Bakery are a gourmet treats business selling a range of bakes in unique and exciting flavour combinations. They sell these really lovely Valentines boxes which get delivered to your door, containing the following:
- Ruby Blondie
- Pistachio & Rose Blondie
- Black Forest Brownie
- Red Velvet Oreo Cheesecake Brownie
- Strawberries & Cream Stuffed Cookie
- Red Velvet & Nutella Stuffed Cookie
These boxes also contain a packet of Love Hearts, a packet of Love Hearts Dip and a personalised message card which reads “Absence Bakes The Heart Grow Fonder” on reverse. These would make amazing treat boxes for your significant other or even just for yourself!

Escape Hunt print & play games
A great idea for a valentines gift, as well as something to do for valentines date night during lockdown, are these print and play mystery games. They’re very much like escape rooms, where you have to solve puzzles to solve the mystery, but instead you’re doing it from the comfort of your own home. You are sent a bunch of printouts to help you solve the mystery, such as maps and clues. I was recently sent ‘The Treasure of the Aztecs’ to try out and honestly, it was so much fun! I won’t give too much away in case you want to do this yourselves, but I definitely recommend this as a last minute valentines date night! (Just a note you will need a printer for this.)

And there we have it – my 2020 Valentines gift guide! Let me know what you end up doing for valentines this year.
Until next time

OMg that box of goodies wouldn’t last 5 minutes in my house. I am seriously considering using V Day as a holiday for me and my man. We don’t usually go all out but life is very mundane and samey right now!
