Hi everyone! Welcome back.
I was recently reached out to by Cel who asked if I wanted to try out some of their haircare range, and of course I said yes. This is the Microstem range which aims to give users thicker and stronger hair with regular use. The first thing I want to point out is, after looking at their website, their products are in no way budget friendly, and I was very shocked a the prices of these items. But if they work, I guess they’re worth it.
The first products I tried out were the shampoo and conditioner. These retail at £39.95 each.
Claims:
- Encourages high cell turnover to promote new hair growth
- Paraben free
- Sulfate free
- Suitable for all hair types – chemically treated or not
- Hypoallergenic
Key ingredients:
Active Panax Ginseng
“works to increase the number of dermal papilla cells in the scalp, and stimulating follicles to encourage more hair growth”
Keratin
“strengthens each strand from root to tip, working as an anti-frizz agent”
Glycerin
“works as a moisture sponge to keep our scalp and hair hydrated, whilst preventing skin irritation and promoting hair growth”
Biotin
“critical to cell repair, metabolism and cell regrowth”
Saw Palmetto
“taken from the Serenoa Repens tree, it works by preventing the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) – a hormone believed to cause hair loss.”

The next product I tried was the hair thickening mask. This one retails at £42.95 for a 131ml pot.
Claims:
- Paraben free
- Sulfate free
- Suitable for all hair types – chemically treated or not
- Safe for coloured hair
- Hypoallergenic
Key ingredients include Active Panax Ginseng, Keratin, Glycerin, Biotin and Saw Palmetto.
How to use:
After washing your hair with shampoo, rinse thoroughly and add a generous amount of the hair mask to the hair from root to tip, paying particular attention to the ends. Leave on for at least a minute (longer for a deeper conditioning) before rinsing thoroughly. Use twice a week for best results.

Finally onto the Microstem Hair Stimulation Formula, which is £66.95.
Claims:
- Paraben free
- Sulfate free
- Suitable for all hair types – chemically treated or not
- No harsh chemicals
- No skin irritating fragrances
- Hypoallergenic
The ingredients include Keratin, Glycerin and Biotin, as well as:
Asparagus Stem Cells
“These stem cells activate damaged hair follicles to promote hair growth by lengthening the growth phase in the cell cycle, as well as block hair-killing hormones.”
How to use:
On towel-dried or dry hair, apply serum to the scalp, focusing on areas where hair is thin, and massage in well. Do not rinse. Apply once or twice a day for best results.

All these products are cruelty free which I love. So far I have really been enjoying these products. I haven’t been testing them long enough to see if there’s any long term lasting effects on my hair, but I noticed after each use my hair did feel in really great condition. Let me know if you want me to do a follow up post after I have used them for a while longer.
Thank-you to Cel for sending me these products to try!
Until Next Time.

These sound like great products – I would love to see a follow-up post about whether they helped your hair to grow. I am always trying to find ways to make my hair grow faster, but I feel like there would need to be a significant difference to justify the price of these!

I’d love to read a post after you’ve been using them for a while to see if they do what they say they’ll do! That’s quite a price tag if they don’t! Fab review ❤ xxx

Hmm, those are very expensive hair care products! I’d definitely be interested in a follow up post to see if they’re really worth the price tag or not after you’ve been using them for a month or so.
