It feels like it’s been quite a while since I updated you all on my skincare routine and what products I’ve been loving. My last one was back in July (!?) when I let you know my summer evening skincare routine. It’s now winter, and I have changed up my products a fair bit since then. I’ve been on quite the skincare journey, and still suffer from regular breakouts which I’ve been battling for years. There are certain products which work wonders for my skin which you will have seen me talk about before.

A range I wanted to share with you today is a new release from Liz Earle that I’ve been trying out over the past few weeks.

Introducing the new Pro-Biotic range, which features 3 products – a milk cleanser, a day cream and a night cream.

Pro-Biotic Balancing Milk Cleanser

This cleanser aims to protect and strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier, giving visibly healthier skin. It has a really gentle, milky formula which cleanses as well as moisturises and calms the skin. It melts away impurities, pollution and makeup without being harsh on the skin, leaving behind a soothed, healthy-looking glow.

This cleanser uses ingredients that have been expertly selected for their efficacy, including chicory, lunaria oil, jojoba oil and oat extract.

Pro-Biotic Balancing Day Cream

This is an ultra-gentle, lightweight day cream the boosts and strengthens the skin’s moisture barrier for visibly healthier-looking skin. With a unique blend of nutrient-rich pre, pro and postbiotics, this fragrance-free formula strengthens and protects skin’s moisture barrier throughout the day, while rebalancing the appearance of oily and dry areas for a comfortable feel.

Pro-Biotic Balancing Night Cream

An ultra-gentle, velvety-smooth night cream that helps revive stressed-feeling skin while you sleep, leaving even the most dry, sensitive and reactive-feeling skin looking radiant and renewed by morning. This product aims to strengthen the moisture barrier and dramatically improve dry, sensitive skin in just 7 days.

My thoughts

One thing I really loved about these products is the fact there is barely any scent to them, which instantly reassures me there’s no harsh chemicals. There is a slight oaty scent which is the scent of some of their naturally active ingredients. If you suffer from breakouts, this probably isn’t going to appeal to you as there are no claims to fighting breakouts, however I’ve found using this in conjunction with my usual skincare that is more suited to spot prone skin has worked really well. Breakout products can be quite harsh and drying so using these products in between can help to rehydrate and plump up the skin, giving a lovely healthy glow.

I will be continuing to use these products and I’m highly likely to repurchase when the time comes.

You can buy these individually or you can purchase the Pro-biotic trio as a set.

Until next time.
